We only met Rachel, Jeni and their gorgeous pooches last year, but their Pet Accessories have become firm favourites at our markets.
What’s the story behind your name?
Hi, my name’s Rachel. When me and my now wife got together and settled down we decided to rescue a dog. That’s when Daisy came into our lives. She had such a traumatic past. But with a lot of love and hard work she settled with us. We got the bug. Now we have 5 rescue dogs and a very confused cat. We decided on the name Wonky Tails as each one of our furbabies, not having the best start in life, have each got their own Wonky Tale. Plus, the baby of our pack, Rebel has actually got a Wonky Tail where it was once broken.

Who runs your business? Do you have time to do any other jobs or is this full time?

Wonky Tails is a family business run by me and the wife Jeni. She is the brains behind the outfit. She manages me and I’m the creator (she tells me what to make and I make it. Hehe).
I have recently given up my job to make this a full time business.
Where do you find your Inspiration?
My inspiration is my furbabies. I love to see them in something different from all the others dogs around. I want them to feel comfortable in what they wear and I swear they strut when they have something new on.
Where Can People Find You?
You can find Wonky Tails on Facebook at or we have an etsy page www.etsy.com/shop/wonkytailspet

What have you been upto during the COVID pandemic (apart from giving up your job just before it??)

Having the time over this awful pandemic I have had the chance to try making new products. I’ve always done collars and leads but I’ve now been able to branch out and do bandanas, harnesses and head collars.
What have you missed about Worker Bee Markets?
I’ve missed the markets so much. Just the interaction with people, meeting new people and seeing some familiar faces. Sharing the love of my products with everyone. Most of all I love the slobber kisses and puppy cuddles and I still get those from my pack!
