TINK & REU is a brand new craft business run by sisters Kirsty and Sarah
What’s the story behind your name?
Our name is made up of our babies’ nicknames. We started Tink&Reu whilst on maternity leave so it seemed only fitting to name our business after them.
Who runs your business? Do you have time to do any other jobs or is this full time?
We are sisters, Sarah and Kirsty and together we run Tink&Reu. We both made the leap to make this our full time commitment and this usually means a lot of late nights once the children are in bed!
What do you make?
We make bunting, decorations and gifts using a mixture of crochet and sewing. Lots of our items can be personalised to make keepsake gifts for many occasions.
Where do you get your inspiration?
We both love rustic home decor, so have tried to make things we love in the hope that others do too! Our aim is to bring unique, thoughtful gifts to our customers that all have that personal touch.
Where can people find you?
We work from home in Romiley, Stockport but all of our items can be found on our online shop. Some of our range can also be seen and ordered in our local gift shop. We are attending Worker Bee Markets for the first time this year, with a view to getting out and about more during 2019. You can also find us on all the usual social media outlets and we are excited to be part of the Pedddle community.
Do you have any tips for anyone wanting to start their own creative small business?
If you’re passionate and not afraid of a challenge, starting your own small business can be very rewarding! Our advice would be just to go for it and never run out of coffee!
