We find inspiration in the work and the ethos of this brand new talented self-starter

What’s the story behind your name?
Well… I came up with the name after lots of brain storming conversations with my long suffering other half! I like to think Just Bee Bumble reflects what I make but also the acceptance of just being who you are.
Who runs your business? Do you have time to do any other jobs or is this full time?
I run the business alongside my partner Lee. We both work full time, him as a builder as me as a special educational needs Teaching Assistant in a primary setting in Stockport. I do dream of making Just Bee Bumble my full time job one day.
What do you make?
I make framed cross-stitch art. I do not work from a pattern mainly because I love the freedom of not using one as it means each Bee is completely unique. I began by per
fecting the bees which are now available in various colours. I also make commissions based on customer demand, these have ranged from song lyrics to private jokes.
Where do you get your inspiration?

It kind of encapsulated what Manchester is that is doesn’t matter where you began, Manchester has got you. My Bees started to develop after that as a reminder and symbol of hope, choice and togetherness.
Where can people find you?
We will be at numerous worker bee markets until the end of the year including some in Gatley, Bramhall and Heald Green as well as pop-up events. We will also be at the Gatley festival this year! Buzz on over to see more of my
